Craft Beer Trades

Started homebrewing around september and finding it to be a great new hobby. Im on my 4th batch - had a back injury that prevented more activity. Anyone else experimenting? My girlfriend and I recently brewed a dubbel extract kit. After primary fermentation we split the batch. bottles 2.5 gallons, and racked the 2nd half to secondary fermentation and threw in the addition of oak chips soaked in jim beam. Ill let you all know how it comes out...hopefully I havent infected it.
